Who are we
CMO Groningen is the knowledge centre for care, welfare and education in and for the province of Groningen, but also far beyond, in this country as well as in Europe.
We examine social issues, observe new developments and provide answers. Not by writing bulky reports, but rather by developing and implementing innovative projects and producing surprising and novel solutions.
CMO Groningen is a social enterprise working in a demand and result oriented way. We are a centre of expertise and consultancy in the broad field of social policy and operate both as developers and supervisors of projects in this domain. In addition our research bureau offers a wide range of various research methods and instruments.
Our organization is characterized by a high degree of professionalism, which finds expression in the quality of our work and the expertise, commitment and consumer friendly mentality of our staff.
Our sphere of activity covers the social domain consisting of a large number of policy areas, such as child care, social service, socio-cultural work, local social policy, policy regarding care for the elderly, youth welfare policy, shelter and crisis policy, homecare, care for the disabled and integration policy. Education, employment and social activation are also part of CMO Groningen’s field of activity. Obviously, being engaged in such a wide range of policy areas and sectors, we find that working in an integrated fashion is a matter of course.
